L-1 Visa

Defined as an intra-company transfer US visa, the L1 Visa permits a US company to transfer employees from one of its offices outside of the United States into the country. Currently, there are two types of L-1 visas:


L1-A Visa
  • Managers
  • Executives
L1-B Visa
  • Specialized Employees


O-1 Visa

Person of Extraordinary Ability Visa O-1 Visa: The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration says “The O-1 non-immigrant visa is for the individual who possesses extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics, or who has a demonstrated record of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture or television industry and has been recognized nationally or internationally for those achievements.”


H-1B Visa

There are three types of people who may file petitions for this visa.  This visa requires individuals who petition to have a sponsor. 

  • People who work in specialty occupations
  • Professionals who are part of cooperative research for the Department of Defense
  • Fashion models
